A PC version was released on March 31, 2017 in Japan and July 7, 2017 worldwide. iOS and Android versions followed on August 25, 2017 in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>A remake, <em>Root Letter: Last Answer<\/em>, launched for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PS Vita on December 20, 2018 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and Switch on August 30, 2019 in Europe and September 3, 2019 in North America.<\/p>\n<p>A spiritual successor, <em>Root Film<\/em>, launched for PlayStation 4 and Switch on July 30, 2020 in Japan and March 19, 2021 worldwide.
