Roguelike golf adventure game Cursed to Golf<\/em> will launch for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam this summer, publisher Thunderful Games and developer Chuhai Labs announced. <\/p>\n

A free limited time demo of Cursed to Golf<\/em> is available now for PC via Steam until March 27 at 12:00 p.m. PT \/ 3:00 p.m. ET. The demo will give players a feel of how the game\u2019s \u201cGolf-Like\u201d loop works, as well as try outlandish trick shots and sample the retro-inspired soundtrack.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the heartening enthusiasm surrounding Cursed to Golf<\/em>, we\u2019re really excited to be moving towards release in summer 2022 and finally being able to let people play it,\u201d said game director Liam Edwards in a press release. \u201cWell, actually, we decided we\u2019d let people play it now\u2014hence this limited-time free demo on Steam! Enjoy the first biome of Golf Purgatory, there\u2019s some tricky holes and you\u2019ll even have the opportunity to play against the first boss. Have fun and good luck on getting past The Scotsman!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ascend Out of Golf Purgatory<\/strong><\/p>\n

Play as The Cursed Golfer, trapped in Golf Purgatory after a freak accident takes you out as you\u2019re about to take the winning shot of an international tournament! Legend says that playing through the devious courses across Golf Purgatory will get you back to the land of the living and, more importantly, to the trophy you were about to win. Each course is governed by a ghostly Legendary Caddie, who will tutor you in the mystical ways of golf to aid you on your quest for redemption and revival.<\/p>\n

Are You Up to Par?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cursed to Golf<\/em> offers a fresh take on the golfing and roguelike subgenres. Make your way through a hole within the PAR Count or your curse will take you back to the beginning of the course! To add to the challenge, these courses don\u2019t just have bunkers and rough spots but are also chock full of mad obstacles like high powered fans, spikes, TNT boxes, teleporters and a whole load more. It\u2019s all par for the course in this twisted take on the classic game!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ace Cards will turn the odds back in your favor, channeling your otherworldly powers to manipulate the game in incredible ways. Scattershot, U-Turn, Rocketball, Mulligans are just some of over 20 cards you have up your sleeve to turn the tide back in your favor!<\/p>\n
