Razer announces new Razer Huntsman keyboard line
Razer revealed two new keyboards in its new “Huntsman” line. The Razer Huntsman Elite offers a full keyboard design complete with media keys. The Huntsman standard keyboard also boasts the same “Opto-Mechanical Switch” design, delivering more performance than traditional “clicky” mechanical switch keyboards.
We have amassed years of experience developing and manufacturing our very own Razer™ Mechanical Switches designed specifically for gamers,” says Razer CEO and Co-Founder Min-Liang Tan.
Both keyboards will support the full Razer Chroma experience. The Huntsman Elite will house three dedicated media controls and one digital dial. Each of these is programmable via Razer Synapse. The keyboard also includes a magnetic, leatherette wrist rest.
Razer Opto-Mechanical™ Switches have an optical light sensor inside the switch. Upon pressing a key, you allow a receiver to be activated by this light signal, instantly actuating the switch command. You’ve never experienced speed like this before.
The Razer Huntsman Elite will have a retail price of $199.99. The Huntsman standard keyboard is also available now, retailing for $149.99.
