Steam gets Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support
Being a PC site we know nothing about the Nintendo Switch but it’s apparently done very well for Nintendo. Today the Steam Controller team announced that the latest Steam Client Beta adds support for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Although PC gamers usually opt for the trusty mouse and keyboard combo, a controller can come in handy for some games so the addition of the Switch controller support will be welcomed by Switch/PC owners.
Gamers can now opt-in to the latest Steam Client Beta and test out the new support. There is some messing around needed to get the gyro support and config sorted out but if you’ve hooked up a PS4 or Xbox controller it should be easy enough.
